#MyBodyMyChoice is a much quoted phrase right now.Is that true according to the #Bible for #Christians?The Corinthians were surrounded by a culture that said sexual immorality was of no consequence.Sound familiar?What does Christian liberty mean?Are there any limits and what are they?Should we consider the effect on others?Will certain actions turn into deadly habits?Why does Paul bring food into this discussion? Everything was created for God’s glory including our bodies.If we are grafted into the body of Christ as Believers, what happens when we give in to sexual immorality?Many are horrified when a church is defiled but where does Paul say the temple of God is?How can we avoid sexual sin?Paul ends on a positive note exhorting us to use our bodies to glorify God.
We are grieving for the loss of a mother, sister, and a daughter who was also a cofounder of this site, Jeanetta Jones Daniel.But, we know by her love that she was a Believer in Jesus Christ and that she is in a much better place with the Lord now.

This time of year, we hear about and see all manner of #evil #spirit aberrations in #movies, #TV, and yes-even on neighborhood doorsteps! Today our society seems to embrace the spirit of evil with glee, but refute the HOLY SPIRIT.The Bible clearly proclaims God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Do You? These are just a few Bible verses I would like to share with you Not as a TRICK, but a TREAT….“The hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in SPIRIT and TRUTH; for the Father seeks such to worship Him. GOD IS SPIRIT.” John 4:23 “We have not received the SPIRIT OF BONDAGE TO FEAR but received the SPIRIT of ADOPTION so we can call , Abba Father. The SPIRITbears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.” Rom.8:15,16 “GOD REVEALS to us by HIS SPIRIT, for the SPIRITSEARCHES all things, yes the deep things of GOD.We have not received the spirit of the world, but the SPIRIT which is of GOD;that we might know the things that are freely given to us of GOD. So things which we speak are not words teaching man’s wisdom, but the HOLY GHOST TEACHINGS comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1Corth.2:10-13 “Now the LORD IS THAT SPIRIT: and where the SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS, THERE IS LIBERTY.” 11Corth.3:17 “Rejoice.. pray…be thankful..QUENCH NOT THE SPIRIT...” 1Thess.5:16-19 ” Avoid even the appearance of evil. ” On this Halloween, are you promoting the spirit of fear and evil or do you show the Spirit of the Lord in a loving, caring, giving demeanor? Let God’s Spirit shine through the darkness.
#Biographies have captured my attention from a very early age. Even today, as I observe the actions of others it is very revealing of ones character. We watch actors perform on large and small screens, but acts which have been written by the screen writers. As a child, I lived in Amarillo, Texas and on Saturdays we would go downtown to shop where I noticed people parked on the street just sitting in their car watching all the people pass by. (This was before TV) Naturally curious, I asked my mother, Why are they just sitting there? She replied, “Honey, they just like to be entertained by the crowd ” Sound familiar? Paul wrote in 11 Corinthians 3 about epistles, letters written to others – “You are a letter written in our hearts, known and read of all men, you are shown as a letter of Christ cared for by us, written not with ink, but with the SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD, not on tablets of stone but on fleshly tablets of the heart.” You may think no one notices you or you can hide by role playing; however, the veil has been taken away by Jesus Christ. “Now the LORD IS THAT SPIRIT: and where the SPIRIT OF THE LORD is there is LIBERTY. But we all, with open face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the SPIRIT OF THE LORD.” 17-19 What are you tweeting? #E.T., #spooks, #hauntings, #ghosts are all things many people find believable -yet in that darkness – they are still searching!
