What is the purpose of the church? Should it be first concerned with #SocialJustice or #politics? No, it should be #missions. Jesus Christ, who is the head of the church, proved this even before the Great Commission by doing what? Was missions an ad lib response to sin? How is the body of believers more than an organization? Before Christ and His ministry, how did society view mercy and benevolence? Is there personal responsibility in this mission? Where do we get the power to carry out the mission?

What is an #apostle? Were they just the hand picked followers of #Christ or is the #HolySpirit still enabling Believers with the work gift of apostleship today? I personally have a friend who has the work gift of craftsmanship.

What is it about the gifts of healing that makes us unsettled? Does God always want someone healed? What do we need to know about the gift of leadership? How about mercy? Are there still miracles being performed? Which gift refers to feeding and caring for the flock? And finally, similar to pastoring but standing on its own is serving. What is the reward for using these gifts properly?

Who or What is a high#priest? According to the word of God, the #Bible, a male descendent of Aaron was consecrated by divine appointment to the priesthood representing the people before Yahweh.(Ex.29) What does that have to do with #Jesus? So…how does that affect ME? (Heb.4-5) “CHRIST did not glorify himself to become a HIGH PRIEST; but HE who said to Him, ‘Thou Art My Son Today I Have Begotten Thee…as a PRIEST FOREVER after the order of Melchisedec’ Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered having been made perfect. He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation. There is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Seeing then that we have a great HIGH PRIEST, that is passed into the heavens, JESUS the SON of GOD, let us hold fast our confession. Heb. 7 tells us that Jesus is an unchangeable priesthood able to save us that come unto God by Him as He ever lives to make intercession for us. For we do not have an HIGH PRIEST who cannot be touched by our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. #Violence, #Barbarism, #Massacres, and all manner of #Carnage are happening right now as displayed on the internet and TV. While #Evil is thrust before our eyes to make us #fearful, Ps.56:11 “In #GOD will I put my trust; I will not be afraid what man can do unto me…13God has delivered my soul from death: will He not deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?” Recently, I was told that a Sunday School teacher was telling others to not admit you’re a Christ follower for you could be a target. I pray we will follow God’s word rather than the fear mongers. Ps.56:3 “What time I am afraid, I will trust in God…I will praise His word…I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.” Ps.57 “Be merciful unto me, O God, for my soul trusts in Thee; in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. I will cry unto God most high; GOD WHO PERFORMS ALL THINGS FOR ME. He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. GOD shall send forth His Mercy and Truth.”
