How do you #worship?  First, what is worship?  What displeases God?  Conversely what does God desire from our worship?  Ask yourself, do you enjoy going?  Do you want to know what God wants?  Do you come with a repentant heart?  How about a thankful spirit?  What is required of us after the worship service is over?

The LIVING GOD #HIGH PRIEST

Who or What is a high#priest?  According to the word of God, the #Bible, a male descendent of Aaron was consecrated by divine appointment to the priesthood representing the people before Yahweh.(Ex.29)  What does that have to do with #Jesus?  So…how does that affect ME?  (Heb.4-5) “CHRIST did not glorify himself to become a HIGH PRIEST; but HE who said to Him, ‘Thou Art My Son Today I Have Begotten Thee…as a PRIEST FOREVER after the order of Melchisedec’  Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered having been made perfect.  He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation.   There is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.  Seeing then that we have a great HIGH PRIEST, that is passed into the heavens, JESUS  the SON of GOD, let us hold fast our confession.   Heb. 7 tells us that Jesus is an unchangeable priesthood able to save us that come unto God by Him as He ever lives to make intercession for us.   For we do not have an HIGH PRIEST who cannot be touched by our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.  LET US COME BOLDLY UNTO THE THRONE OF GRACE, THAT WE MAY OBTAIN MERCY, AND FIND GRACE TO HELP IN TIME OF NEED.”  Through His Grace, may we say like Job 19:25 “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I SEE GOD….

Temptation

19850127 Temptation - Rev. Tommy Jones

If I was a true #Christian, I would not be #tempted to do this.  If my walk with #Jesus was closer, I would not even think about doing that.  What is wrong with these two statements?  What very important person was tempted like we are?  So if being tempted is not a sin and indeed inevitable, how should we handle it?  In what three areas was Jesus tempted?  Can all of our temptations boil down to these three categories?  Who should we trust?  What should we quote?  What power do we need to tap into?

The LIVING GOD #MOST#HIGH

I am #amazed and #awed by #God’s  #Word.  As I read the Word today,  it is for #today!  In Daniel 7, as he tells his vision from the Lord, I get goosebumps  that he saw ten kings and kingdoms that rise up to tread down and devour the whole earth; however another rises after them who subdues even them.  25.”he shall speak great words against the MOST HIGH, and shall persecute the saints of the MOST HIGH, and think to change times and laws; they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. But the court shall sit for judgment, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.  The kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of all kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the MOST HIGH, whose kingdom is and everlasting kingdom, and ALL dominions shall serve and obey HIM.”  Now what does Paul have to say about this in Titus 2?  “Grace of God brings salvation and appeared to all men teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; LOOKING for that blessed hope, and the GLORIOUS APPEARING of the GREAT GOD  and our SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST.”  Keep Looking Up ^

What does #Baptism have to do with #Salvation?  Is it necessary?  Is it important?  As followers of Jesus Christ, we want to follow His example.  What did Jesus do and say when it came to baptism?  What types of Baptism are out there and which one does the Bible describe?  What is the symbolic significance of Baptism?
