How many calls, #texts, #tweets, and #messages do you get in a day?  I loose count; however, I remember my call from the Lord.  Do You? I was only nine years old when I heard the call of the Lord in a Sunday School class asking me to turn from my selfish ways, seek forgiveness, and accept His call to become His converted disciple.  That call is as audible to me today as it was seventy years ago.  Luke 5:31-32 “Jesus said, they that are healthy do not need a physician; but they that are sick.  I came not to CALL the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”  Have you answered your call?   “God has distributed to every man, as the LORD HAS CALLED EVERY ONE, so let him walk.”1Corth 7:17    “the eyes of your understanding being illuminated (even on your cell phone); that you may know what is the HOPE OF HIS CALLING and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance ….greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also into that which is to come.” Eph.1:18-21   What does 1Peter 5:10 say about today’s call?  “GOD OF ALL GRACE, who has CALLED US TO SHARE HIS ETERNAL GLORY by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered awhile, makes you perfect (complete), established, strengthened,and settled.”  “Brethren, you have been CALLED UNTO LIBERTY; only do not use liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but serve one another.” Gal.5:13
