THE LIVING GOD SAID, “WOE”

Well have you ever heard so many #lawyers, #politicians, #newscasters and #talk shows participants vehemently shouting their opinions on the character of public officials?  Technology has given a voice to all who want the attention or a platform.  The old saying “Talk is Cheap” is definitely viral today!  Most story lines which are addressed over and over seem to me to be direct attacks aiming to destroy the individual.   As I see and hear many opinions expressed on various people and subjects, I see a pattern of behavior that is told in the Holy Bible.  Jesus Christ did not mince words when He said, “WOE UNTO YOU, LAWYERS!  FOR YOU HAVE TAKEN AWAY THE KEY OF KNOWLEDGE:  YOU ENTERED NOT IN YOURSELVES, AND THEM THAT WERE ENTERING IN YOU KEPT OUT.  He said these things unto them, as the scribes and Pharisees began to criticize Him vehemently, and to provoke Him to speak of many things:  Laying wait for Him, and seeking to catch something out of His mouth, that they might accuse Him.” Luke 11:52-54  Again I say, “Everything old is new again”.  Rev.12:12 “WOE to those inhabiters of the earth and sea – for the devil is come down unto you having great wrath because he knows that he has but a short time!”  What is the answer?  THE LIVING GOD’S WORD – JESUS CHRIST.  1John4: “Trust not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  You know the Spirit of God:  Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God…  Rev.4:4 greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.  Those that are of the world speak of the world and the world hears them.  We are of God:  he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God does not hear us.  That is how we recognize the spirit of truth from the spirit of error. . 1John3:23 “This is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son, Jesus Christ and love one another.”  You choose.

There is a saying about stepping out of your #ComfortZone, ‘you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.’  What is the target of witnessing?  Is it a #decision or a #disciple?  How do we disciple a new Christian?  If Jesus has done all the work already, and He has, what is left for us to do?  How are we supposed to guide a new believer through the truths and promises available to us?  That is Christ for us but what does the Bible mean when it says Christ in us?  What warnings does a new believer need to hear?  Is it only warnings that they need?  What can we learn about treating new believers by the examples of both Jesus Christ and Paul, the missionary?

The Winning Witness’ Technique

Okay, for the past several weeks we have been readying ourselves to share the #Gospel to our #friends and #neighbors.  But how?  Is there one way that is better than the others?  While the message should be consistent, can the approach be tailored?  What part of the witnessing technique always stays the same?  How should a Christian approach one who is unsaved?  Boldness should be balanced with what?  How important is it to be sociable?  What kind of analysis should we do when witnessing?  What kind of analysis should we avoid?  Are we not all in the same boat?  Who actually convicts a person of their sin?  What are 5 verses that can explain the unchangeable message that we should be sharing with others?  Is that it?  Or is there one more step?

THE LIVING GOD – SIN

from Barbara's Bible

The song title of an old favorite hit, ” What’s love got to do with it” goes right along with the question, “What’s sin got to do with GOD? Just read what the love of God did for us by sacrificing His only son to cleanse our sinfulness as recorded in 11Corth. 5:21 “GOD MADE JESUS TO BE SIN FOR US, WHO KNEW NO SIN; THAT WE MIGHT BE MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM”  17.”if anyone is in Christ Jesus, they become a new creature as old things are passed away; and all things become new.”  Through loving care of you as a babe and young child,  did your parents bathe you to remove all the stench and dirt from your body?  “And such were some of you, but now you are washed – you are (sanitized} sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” 1Corth.6:11   Have you acknowledged your sins need to be covered by Jesus cleansing blood?  Ps. 51:3 “For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.  2.  Wash me throughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.”  God through Christ became our sin on that cross as He died giving His blood to cover and cleanse our sins before our Father GOD.  Now this is the miracle of miracles for us to have eternal life with GOD.  The choice is yours – Choose you this day to be washed clean by His righteous blood!  You see love has everything to do with it….
