What gives you #comfort? Does #food come to your mind? Maybe it is that relaxing favorite #chair that is so comfy. How about reading a good book for an enjoyable escape. It could be that just being in the presence of someone and hearing their voice is comforting to you. I know all the afore mentioned bring me solace. When I can sit in a well lighted chair with ‘the’ good book, “the Bible” and read GOD’s COMFORTING WORDS – HIS VOICE WHISPERS IN MY EAR. “Remember the WORD unto thy servant, which Thou has caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction as thy word has quickened me.” Ps.119:49,50 “Blessed be God even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT; WHO COMFORTS US IN ALL TRIBULATION, that we maybe able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the help wherewith we ourselves have received comfort of God.” 11Cor.1:3,4 There is heartache vividly shown via internet all around the world today, however, our God is peaceful, merciful, and gracious ! “GOD COMFORTS THOSE THAT ARE CAST DOWN” 11Cor. 7:6 Are you blinded my sorrow, tribulation, the troubles of the world? “Jesus stood still and called the blind man saying, ‘BE OF GOOD COMFORT, RISE’ …. blind man received his sight and followed Jesus in the way” Mark 10:49-52 “Sing, O heavens, be joyful O earth, ..for the LORD COMFORTS HIS PEOPLE, and will have mercy upon His afflicted” Is.49:13

Okay, one more important interruption in the series of messages we have been doing. Heads up, Sunday the 12th is #MothersDay. Don’t forget #Mom. Are we all children of God? What does the Bible say about God’s family and its features? What manner of love does God have for His redeemed sons and daughters? Who are the children of wrath? Could these identities be more opposite? Right after John congratulates us for our new identity, it issues a warning. When does eternal life begin and what should that look like? What do we know about our future? What is our blessed hope and what difference should it make in our lives?

THE LIVING GOD WILL ANSWER
Do you always get #answers to your texts? Does everyone return your #calls? How many passwords do you need to retrieve your private information? Today technology seems to have an answer for everything (if you can decipher it ) however, I find one road leading to many others while painfully searching the web. The manual could be of some help – that is if you can find it. There is a pattern here…see it? GOD wrote the Bible filled with His answer to living, but can you locate His Word? Read Jeremiah 33:2,3 “Thus said the LORD the maker, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD JEHOVAH is His name; says call on Me, and I WILL ANSWER YOU, and show you great and mighty hidden things which you know not” God does not fail….Psalm 65:5 “By awesome deeds GOD DOES ANSWER US IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, O GOD OF OUR SALVATION”
