Have you seen the commercial that says #RedBull gives you #wings? Well, far from a catchy marketing gimmick, God’s Word says that His children will fly on wings as eagles. Why did the fellow who found a $5 bill on the ground say that it was the worst thing that could have happened to him? With wings comes the ability to fly, but how? How does God’s lessons on flight parallel the way an eagle teaches its young to fly? What lessons can we learn from the refinement of silver? What’s wrong with the answer ‘pretty good, under the circumstances’?

Who did that very thing? Jesus Christ did. And who sent Him specifically to do just that? God, the Father did. What kind of overwhelming love must He have for us to do that? What does Psalms says about God’s ability and even eagerness to hear us? What is the step we need to take to be able to say as the Psalmist does that we have been delivered from death? How about delivery from tears? How are we meant to respond to this supernatural gift of love?

What does #Psalms 139 teach us about the greatness of #God? In this age of technological achievements, have we become jaded to the amazing character of our creator? How vast is God’s knowledge of us? In the middle of #Winter, right after #Christmas we become susceptible to a sort of #malaise or #depression. Really it can occur at anytime. But what did Jesus say was the key to happiness? Is it what we have? Is it what we do? Is it what we are? The Beatitudes are the part of the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus said Blessed are the ____ . Did you know blessed means to be congratulated or happy? What does poor in spirit mean? What does meek mean? These sayings don’t make sense when we compare them to what the World says will make us happy. But, who knows better what will make us happy, the Creator or the created?
