Is something truly hidden if it is right in front of us and the only reason we can’t see it is because we refuse to take off our blindfold?  How can we receive the comfort and the power promised to Christians?  Even growth is going to be impossible without the Holy Spirit.  Have you made a decision of Faith?  Are you obeying the instructions we were already given?  We should not ask for more directives if we are not following the ones already given to us.  How important is unity to God’s plan going forward?  Does the Holy Spirit respond to length of prayers?  Eloquence?   How about quality of prayers?

In order to be filled with the Holy Spirit, you need to start a relationship with God by accepting His Son, Jesus Christ, as your Savior and Lord.  If you want to know more, click here:    https://www.findbibletruth.com/?page_id=105

Power.  Everybody wants it, but how do we get it?  Have you ever heard a powerful testimony like the one featured in our weekly message and wondered where they get the strength to speak so powerfully about what Jesus has done in their life?  What is our part in witnessing and what part does the Holy Spirit play?  How does the Holy Spirit embolden our witness?  Next week:  The Path To The Holy Spirit.

Have you ever seen the ripple effect on a large body of water?  You know, when you throw a rock into a still pond the ripples grow from the center of impact and multiply until they affect the whole body.  God sent the Holy Spirit to equip and empower believers to be witnesses and ripple out across the world.  So, should every Christian head for a far off location to share their story?  Is staying closer to home acceptable?  Is it easier?  How were Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria related geographically?  Philosophically?  How do they translate to our locations today?  How about the uttermost parts of the earth?

What was that?  Imagine standing up at the United Nations to address people from all over the world and without the aid of microphones and interpreters, being heard and understood by everyone in the room.  That is what it was like when the Holy Spirit was given to the early church for the first time to all believers.  What sound accompanied the entrance of the Holy Spirit?  What visual sign appeared above the believers’ heads?  As impressive as speaking in other languages was, did it have a greater purpose than showmanship?  Next week: The Purpose of the Holy Spirit.

It takes two to tango and it takes three to make a Trilogy.  Who is the most often overlooked and least mentioned part of the Triune Godhead?  Let’s listen to Brother Tommy this month and learn what the Bible has to say about the Holy Spirit.  Was the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Old Testament?  What did Jesus say about Him?  Who can know Him?  If God has three parts, why do we say there is one God?  What were the disciples told not to do without the Holy Spirit?  Next week: The Presence of the Holy Spirit.

Warning!  Do not listen to this message if you do not want to know why there is evil in this world.  We hear about God’s love all the time.  But, is there another side to God and why is it necessary?  Are we born with a sense of right and wrong?  Is there testimony in nature of a creator?  Does someone have to be an atheist to refuse God?  Man was created to worship.  If not God, then who or what?  Once a person has refused God and replaced Him, what is the final act of rebellion that usually happens?  What are the tell tale signs of someone who has rejected God?  Would it surprise you to know that people who reject God delight in getting others to do the same?

Have you ever felt like the Lord wanted you to do something, but you were not ready?  not good enough?  too busy?  What if Brother Tommy could show you how one of the greatest leaders Israel has ever seen had reservations?  How does God overcome our lack of authority?  If we do not have the ability to carry out what God asks of us, is that the end of it?  What happens when you tell God no too many times?  Are you a member of a church?  Ask yourself what God wants you to do to serve and what excuses you might have given to avoid serving.

Arithmetic In Acts

Who says you won’t use math in life?  In Acts, what can we find that God wants to add?  How can we help?  Is it all about more, what will God subtract?  Addition is good, but multiplication is faster.  How does God multiply disciples?  What would have happened to Christianity if the Early Church had enjoyed undivided growth where they began?

The first thing we all have to learn is how we can be added to the Kingdom of God.  If you want to know more, click here:
