How do we truly know what happened before we got here?  What would the world be like if we all had to discover everything on our own, with no help from those who have gone before us?  How important is it to know what we believe and why we believe it?  From where did the Bible come?  What does Christianity share with other religions?  Where does it diverge?  What parts of the Bible come from God?  But, didn’t a bunch of different people write parts of the Bible?  How do the contents differ from every other book in the world?  What is the warning at the end of the Bible about adding to the Bible?  On whose authority do we believe what is in it?

How much are we born with?  How much do we have to learn along the way?  Do you ever wish you could just start over?  How does God allow us a fresh start?  Is it possible to not serve anyone or anything?  What are some things we can gain from this new life?  What does baptism show?  What kind of company can this life bring?  What kind of conversation will it spark?  Are there any responsibilities that go along with this new start?

The first step is to ask for the Lord to come into your life.  For more information, click here:

Ford has some funny commercials that explore what it is like to be one thing, but not the other.  One has a boss who is not large but he is in charge.  Another has an oriental restaurant serving sour chicken instead of sweet and sour.  We love it when we can combine things to get the best of both worlds, but sometimes a decision is required between ideologies, ways of life, turns to make, etc.  There is one big decision facing every person on this planet.  That is whether to accept the saving Grace of the Savior Jesus Christ or to remain in sin.  Once we choose to give our life over to Jesus, what choices remain?  Do we need to get baptized?  Do we need to join a church?  Do we need to serve the Lord?  By what do we measure our progress?  What is the consequence of sitting still?  How is the Christian Life like an escalator?  What is the alternative to growing?

The first step is to ask for the Lord to come into your life.  For more information, click here:

Who is the most famous person you have ever met in person?  Were you excited?  What does it mean to be in awe of someone?  Is fear ever a good thing?  To whom should we compare ourselves?  What is something we should get out of every worship service?  How do all the do’s and don’ts of God’s Word culminate in His Love?

What happens after we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior?  Do we just sit back and cruise through life?  Brother Tommy tells us here how we can turbocharge our Christian experience.  To whom are Christians indebted?  Do we owe others because of what they have done for us or is it another reason?  Okay, now what do we do about our indebtedness?  How do we get ready?  How do we step on the gas?

Before you can share the Lord, you have to start a personal relationship with Him yourself.  To find out more, click here:

How many ways are there to reach God?  What does the Bible say?  Amazingly, every alternative that has ever been proposed boils down to one thing.  What is it?  What is Grace?  Should we ask God for what we deserve?  How does God’s plan put the magnification where it belongs?  Why is Faith superior to Works?  On a personal note, my quiet time today was in Luke 23.  As I read about Pilate offering the crowd a choice to free Barrabas, a known criminal or Jesus, with whom he found no fault, I couldn’t help but see that we are all Barrabas.  Christ died in our place and we are guilty criminals given a fresh start.

How valuable would it be to receive what you need when you need it?  Brother Tommy tells us where we can find this incredible resource.  How does it work? Can we save it up for a rainy day?  Is there an obstacle too big for God?  Does God take away all problems for His children?  Ask Paul.  Have any of the Lord’s promises ever failed?  If God already knows our needs, do we still have to ask for help?

What does it take to build a house?  Wood, steel, bricks?  But, what does it take to build a happy home?  Fortunately God gave us a blueprint.  It starts with the marriage.  Who should be joined in matrimony?  How should a marriage reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church?  Without knowing what the Bible really says about husbands, wives, and families, many people mistakenly believe that it promotes male dominance.  Rather it is about division of duties and responsibilities.  A truly biblical view lifts up the woman and her role in the family and society without tearing down the man from his role.  What are the children asked to do?  But, what if the husband asks his wife or the parent asks their child to do something against God’s explicit instructions?  What is the greatest responsibility of a parent?
