It takes two to tango and it takes three to make a Trilogy.  Who is the most often overlooked and least mentioned part of the Triune Godhead?  Let’s listen to Brother Tommy this month and learn what the Bible has to say about the Holy Spirit.  Was the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Old Testament?  What did Jesus say about Him?  Who can know Him?  If God has three parts, why do we say there is one God?  What were the disciples told not to do without the Holy Spirit?  Next week: The Presence of the Holy Spirit.

In order to be filled with the Holy Spirit, you need to start a relationship with God by accepting His Son, Jesus Christ, as your Savior and Lord.  If you want to know more, click here:

Warning!  Do not listen to this message if you do not want to know why there is evil in this world.  We hear about God’s love all the time.  But, is there another side to God and why is it necessary?  Are we born with a sense of right and wrong?  Is there testimony in nature of a creator?  Does someone have to be an atheist to refuse God?  Man was created to worship.  If not God, then who or what?  Once a person has refused God and replaced Him, what is the final act of rebellion that usually happens?  What are the tell tale signs of someone who has rejected God?  Would it surprise you to know that people who reject God delight in getting others to do the same?

In order to find and serve God, you need to start a relationship with Him by accepting His Son, Jesus Christ, as your Savior and Lord.  If you want to know more, click here:

Have you ever felt like the Lord wanted you to do something, but you were not ready?  not good enough?  too busy?  What if Brother Tommy could show you how one of the greatest leaders Israel has ever seen had reservations?  How does God overcome our lack of authority?  If we do not have the ability to carry out what God asks of us, is that the end of it?  What happens when you tell God no too many times?  Are you a member of a church?  Ask yourself what God wants you to do to serve and what excuses you might have given to avoid serving.

In order to serve God, you need to start with a relationship with Him by accepting His Son, Jesus Christ, as your Savior and Lord.  If you want to know more, click here:

Arithmetic In Acts

Who says you won’t use math in life?  In Acts, what can we find that God wants to add?  How can we help?  Is it all about more, what will God subtract?  Addition is good, but multiplication is faster.  How does God multiply disciples?  What would have happened to Christianity if the Early Church had enjoyed undivided growth where they began?

The first thing we all have to learn is how we can be added to the Kingdom of God.  If you want to know more, click here:

When A Man Walks With God

19820711 When A Man Walks With God - Rev. Tommy Jones

How can a person walk with the almighty God of the Universe?  How would that work?  How does the story of Abram from the Old Testament relate to us living in a time after the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, not to mention the sending of the Holy Spirit?  When God speaks, what attitude is necessary to hear the message?  What are God’s standards of perfection?  Once we receive God’s message, what are we expected to do with it?  What are the benefits of this walk with God?

Abram, or Abraham as he was later known, didn’t have the sacrifice of God’s only Son to depend upon.  But we do.  If you want to know more, click here:

3 Principles On Questionable Practices III

19820825 Three Principles To Apply To Questionable Practices III - Rev. Tommy Jones

Some issues are black or white, right or wrong.  But what is a Christian to do when confronted with a gray area?  For the past two weeks Brother Tommy has covered two principles for dealing with this question.  Today he will discuss the third as written by Paul in first Corinthians.  What is loyalty to Christ?  What if we are faced with a new temptation that no one has ever seen?  Will we ever be confronted with temptation beyond our maturity level in the Lord?  What did Paul mean when he said that if you don’t want to know that you shouldn’t ask?  He would have been a great lawyer.  Must have been all that time in prison.  Is it profitable (to whom)?  Does it build others up?  Is it pleasing to the Lord?  After about 18 minutes of pertinent recap from the last two messages, Brother Tommy reveals the third strategy for avoiding questionable practices and some great conclusions.

Is love better than knowledge?  To what extent should the principle of considerate love, from last week’s message, affect our behavior?  As Christians, aren’t we free to enjoy God’s creations?  What does the motivation have to do with the reward?  Paul showed us how to administer considerate love without hypocrisy.  Principle number two is self-discipline.  Paul uses an athletic example to show us its importance.  If we as Christians are in a race, is there a prize for finishing it?  Is there a reason to try for first place in said race?  More on self-discipline and the third principle next week.

How do we know what God thinks about our modern issues and dilemmas?  How can a book that was finished two thousand years ago apply to circumstances today?  Does the Bible contains do’s and don’ts on every subject we will ever run into?  What is the difference in a principle and a law? Here Brother Tommy tells us how we can use Paul’s answer to the early Christians about questionable practices that were around in their day on questionable practices we see going on in our day.  What is the principle of considerate love?  How does it take us beyond knowledge?  What part does the conscience play?  What is meant by the abuse of freedom and liberty?  Look for parts 2 and 3 in the next two weeks.
