LORD will come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury and His rebuke with flames of fire. 18. For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My Glory.” “Choose you this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites… but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

The power of #choice is #liberating. As a six year old during WWll, I walked alone to and from school each day. I was empowered by my freedom to walk, skip, jump or dawdle; however, I had to be on time for school and home. At an early age, I learned that with liberty came responsibility to myself and others, but I found some scary scenarios along the way which brought me to depend on God. Paul gives us sound advice in Galatians about LIBERTY IN CHRIST JESUS…”because of false brethren secretly brought in who came in privily to spy out our LIBERTY WHICH WE HAVE IN CHRIST JESUS, that they might bring us into bondage: to whom we gave no place that the truth of the gospel might continue with you”Gal.2:4,5 “Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But scripture has shut up all men under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.” 3:21,22 “STAND FAST IN THE LIBERTY WHEREWITH CHRIST HAS MADE US FREE, and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage. . .For you have been called unto LIBERTY; only do not use LIBERTY as an opportunity for the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, ..You shall LOVE your neighbor as yourself, but if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you be not consumed one of another…Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” 5:1,13-16
