I’m sorry, but your #disease is #terminal.  Nobody wants to hear that and yet it is true for all of us.  Jesus Christ offers Salvation once and for all time.  The three stages Brother Tommy talks about today are a past act, a present process, and a future confirmation.  Does Jesus save us and move on to the next soul?  What is meant to come after salvation while alive on Earth?  How will salvation be completed and when?

The book of John in the #Bible says that if all the works of #Jesus were written down that all the books in the world couldn’t contain them all.  But, what was His most important work of all?  Was Christ surprised by the cross?  What is atonement?  What did it have to do with the sacrifices offered in the Old Testament?  What are some other views of Jesus’ death on the cross expressed in the Bible?  What all does this saving work do in us?  The work on the cross was complete but then we were given confirmation with the resurrection.  What did we gain from that?  But, what is Jesus doing now?

#Downsizing is very popular these days.  If someone asked you to #simplify your life, could you boil it down to one thing?  Remember, wants and needs are two different concepts.  #Maslow developed a #hierarchy of needs that included #basic needs (food, water, shelter, etc.), psychological needs (friends, relationships, accomplishments, etc.), and self-fulfillment needs.  But the Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, ”and my God will meet all your needs according to His glory in Christ Jesus.”  How can that be?  Is this true for everybody?  Why is the wisdom of this world foolishness compared to the wisdom of God and who can gain access to it?  Have you ever noticed how conventional wisdom is constantly changing and the Bible is yet to be disproved?  On an eternal note, God is righteous and we most certainly are not.  How did God provide us a way to reconcile with Him?  Is it a one time event or an on going way of life?
