Today we are hearing more and more about our #Supreme #Court and the #Judges. So much hinges on their rulings for the U.S. Presidential #election of 2020. I would like to bring GOD’S WORD before you today! “Far be it to slay the righteous with the wicked…shall not THE JUDGE OF ALL THE EARTH DO RIGHT” Genesis 18:25 “THE LORD IS OUR JUDGE; THE LORD IS OUR LAWGIVER, He is our King and WILL SAVE US” Isaiah 33:22 “For THE LIVING GOD IS THE JUDGE and HE PUTS DOWN ONE AND SETS UP ANOTHER. All the horns of the wicked shall be cutoff but the righteous shall be exalted” Psalms 75:7,10 “GOD shall judge the secrets of men” Romans 2:16 “GOD SHALL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE” Psalms 135:14, Heb.10:30 “GOD, the Comforter is come to convince the world of sin and judgement for Spirit of Truth is come to guide you into truth” John 16:7-14 The Word of God is powerful and true. Matthew 12:20,21 “A bruised reed shall GOD not break and smoking flax shall He not quench until He sends forth JUDGMENT UNTO VICTORY for IN GOD SHALL WE TRUST”

THE LIVING GOD CORRECTS

#Family, #Church, #Schools, and #Society have certainly changed over the years! It seems to me most anything goes according to all the little gods running to and fro taking center stage on all platforms. I for one do not believe or follow their self idolizing philosophy ! Furthermore, GOD has given us His Word of perfection to ascertain in our lifetime for directions to walk with Him not the wiles of the devil. I say, “Corrections are needed and are coming through the Lord, because THE LIVING GOD CORRECTS.” How do I know, because it is written in the Bible. “Trust in the LORD THIS DAY TO KNOW THE CERTAINTY OF THE WORDS OF TRUTH for the LORD will plead their cause and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them” Proverbs 22:19-23 We hear so many of man’s opinions over the airways why not listen or read the words of God? {Shun profane and vain babblings} “All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, and CORRECTION which instructs into righteousness” 11Timothy 4:16 “When GOD REBUKES & has to CORRECT MAN for iniquity, GOD causes that which is desired in him to melt away.” Psalm 39:11 Are we seeing the LIVING GOD CORRECT TODAY? “Woe to him that increases that which is not his? Who covets a house on high delivered from the power of evil! Then shall his mind change imputing this power for LORD MY GOD has ordained them for judgment and O MIGHTY GOD HAS ESTABLISHED THEM FOR CORRECTION” Habakkuk 1,2,3 “O LORD REVIVE THY WORK IN THE MIDST OF THE YEARS MAKE IT KNOWN”

THE LIVING GOD RECALLS

Well, have you ever? Not in my lifetime have I seen #America in such #chaos. I #recall WW11 with my father and four of my uncles involved. I remember Mother and I had a book of #ration stamps that we took to the grocery store. I saved aluminum from chewing gum wrappers to donate to the war effort. No riots! All swimming pools were closed during the polio outbreak. We stood together. Then came the changing 60’s with a flashback of drugged hippies lying on Peachtree in downtown Atlanta. I’ve observed many changes in our laws while crimes increase.. and God’s Word has been ignored. Bible informs us that THE LIVING GOD RECALLS, RECOUNTS, REMEMBERS ALL. Nahum 2:4,5 “They shall rage in the streets jostling against one another as they stumble in making a wall. GOD SHALL RECOUNT WHAT IS WORTHY and the defense shall be prepared.” Trust in His Word. “Now know I that the LORD SAVES HIS ANOINTED, He will hear him from His holy heaven with SAVING STRENGTH of HIS RIGHT HAND. We will remember – recount – recall the name of the LORD OUR GOD” Psalms 20:6,7

THE LIVING GOD REFINER

#Heat and #Fire remove #impurities. You may have watched the forging of a steel knife or glass inserted into the flames then blown into a fragile clear object. While observing our world today, I feel the intensity of the kiln! While I have no forging skills, I know who does ! “For OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE” Heb.12:29 Only God can remove our dross. “If anyone build upon the foundation of gold, silver, precious stones wood, hay, stubble it shall be shown and revealed by fire; and the fire shall test everyone’s work .” 1 Corinthians 3:12,13 “Who may abide in the day of LORD’S coming? Who shall stand for GOD IS A REFINER’S FIRE and HE SHALL SIT AS A REFINER AND PURIFIER ..purging and cleaning them as gold and silver so they may offer unto the LORD in righteousness.” Malachi 3:1-3 Yes, we are going through the heat and turmoil today. Look Up ^ The Living God is the Refiner. “I will bring you through the fire and I WILL REFINE YOU as silver is refined and will try them as gold is tried; if they shall call on my name! I WILL HEAR YOU. GOD will say, You are my people when they say, ‘THE LORD IS MY GOD” Zechariah 13:9

WITNESS BY THE LIVING GOD

During my summer breaks from college, I worked in the police department replacing secretaries on their vacations. I was a rotating secretary to the individual head of all the divisions: Chief, Detective, Patrol, Traffic, Accidents, Juvenile , and Incarcerations! Sort of a girl Friday. It was a continuing learning experience. In the Detective Division there was an inside window with an enclosed room on the other side which always had a covering. Then one day the cover was gone. The Chief ask me to observe through the one way window as they questioned and recorded a person of interest. I would become a #witness! At the age of nineteen, I knew the validity of my responsibility. How good is your word and witness in the eyes of the LORD? “A faithful witness will not lie, but a false witness utters lies” Proverbs 14:5 We hear so many views and opinions today. Sound like Job 18 “How long will it be to the end of your words: marked, counted and reputed vile…as the light of the wicked shall be put out and sparks of fire shall not shine” Who is a faithful & a true witness? “Behold MY WITNESS IS IN HEAVEN AND MY RECORD IN HIGH” Job 16:19 JESUS said, “There is another who bears witness of me, and I know that the witness which he witnesses of me is true” John 5:32 Will He find us a faithful and true witness?..“If you receive ‘the witness of men, the WITNESS OF GOD IS GREATER” 1John 5:9

SHADOW OF THE LIVING GOD

As a young child when going to visit #friends and #relatives with my Mother, I remember hearing, “Hi Ginny, where’s your #shadow”? You see I loved and hovered closely to my mom. So I knew what they meant when calling me a shadow. Later I started school and back then we walked on sidewalks in the neighborhood to “get me to the school on time”. While walking, I observed many moving shadows composed from various objects: trees, houses, birds, dogs and storms! I was just learning new words and their definition and discovering scriptures in the Bible that gave me comfort. “GOD has been my strength when needy in distress, a refuge from the storm, A SHADOW from the heat and blasts from the terrible ones.”Isaiah 25:4 So when Halloween time approached, I wanted “my shadow” accompanying me to first grade school carnival. Each class decorated and you paid to go inside their room to play a game. My class did bobbing for apples. I was remembering Ps.17:8 “Keep me as the apple of the HIS eye and HIDE ME UNDER THE SHADOW OF GOD’S WINGS” Those costumes and spooks were creepy to me so I held on to “In the SHADOW OF GOD’S HAND HE HID ME” Isaiah 49:2 “How excellent is God’s loving kindness therefore children put their trust under the shadow of God’s wings” Ps.36:7 ..”because GOD has been my help, I will rejoice in the SHADOW OF THY WINGS” Ps.63:7 Facing the unknown darkness and evil at any age is daunting! Just as I felt security next to my mother as a toddler, I have GOD’S everlasting love, strength, wisdom holding and guiding me through the unknown today. You choose a trick or a real treat this year…“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above coming down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness, nor does His shadow turn..from the word of truth.” James 1:17,18 “He who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY” PS.91:1

THE LIVING GOD IS CLOTHED

With the changing of seasons we like to be #clothed for the #climate #changes. I remember as a child I read Hans Christian Anderson’s ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’. What a #shocker ! However, that tale taught me about perceived reality. Do clothes make a man? What’s behind the mask, the microphone, the screen, the video, or the internet? It was a child calling out that the Emperor had NO CLOTHES ON which exposed the TRUTH . Do we want truth today? “BLESS the LORD O,GOD thou art very GREAT; MY GOD IS CLOTHED WITH HONOR AND MAJESTY COVERED WITH LIGHT AS WITH A GARMENT THAT STRETCHES OUT THE HEAVEN LIKE A CURTAIN” Psalms 104:1,2 Do you think Anderson was writing about a ruler who thought himself equal to GOD? With what are we clothed? 11Corinthians 5 speaks to us “We groan earnestly desiring to be clothed for our house which is for heaven: but if so be that being clothed we are actually found naked…being burdened not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed with the mortal’s way of life that might swallow us up.” We have many tales portrayed on screen such as in the ‘Wizard of Oz’ with a voice behind the curtain trying to rule others. Sound familiar ? Job said in chapter 29 “that God preserved me when His candle shined upon my head and when by His Light I walked through darkness …the nobles held their peace and their tongues…while GOD CLOTHED ME IN RIGHTEOUSNESS as men gave ear and kept silent at my counsel and …the light of GOD’S countenance they cast not down” Truth comes from the Lord. “The LORD has sworn TRUTH unto David; he will not turn from it…if your children will keep my covenant and my testimonies I shall teach them & bless..GOD WILL CLOTHE WITH SALVATION, but upon His ENEMIES WILL I CLOTHE WITH SHAME” Psalms 132

VENGEANCE OF THE LIVING GOD

What is #vengeance? See a rat – get a trap! Webster’s dictionary definition of vengeance states: #Punishment inflicted in return for an injury or an offense is referred #retribution ! With an election on the horizon there are so many #political ads and verbal #attacks being pronounced that it makes you wonder if there’s a skunk in the hen house? Where is truth? I trust God’s Word. What does He say about vengeance? In the book of Nahum 1:2,3,7 we read, “GOD IS JEALOUS, and the LORD REVENGES; and IS FURIOUS; the LORD WILL TAKE VENGEANCE ON HIS ADVERSARIES AND RESERVES WRATH FOR HIS ENEMIES.. . The LORD is slow to anger and great in power but will not acquit the wicked...The LORD IS GOOD, A STRONG HOLD IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE FOR HE KNOWS THEM THAT TRUST IN HIM. Psalms 94:1,2 ” Where are your thoughts today? Are you alone? Listen to God’s word…“If we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins only a fearful judgment with fiery indignation..…For we know THE LORD has said, “VENGEANCE BELONGS UNTO ME, I WILL RECOMPENSE AND JUDGE HIS PEOPLE. IT IS A FEARFUL THING TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE LIVING GOD. So let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith having our hearts cleansed from an evil conscience as we hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering….do not cast away your confidence which has great promise of reward. Have patience and do the will of the LORD so you may receive that promise. Hebrews 10 “O LORD GOD TO WHOM VENGEANCE BELONGS …LIFT US UP AND JUDGE AND RENDER A REWARD TO THE RIGHTEOUS.” Psalms58:11
