We have all heard the term ‘Armageddon.’  While the name comes from a valley in the Middle  East called Megiddo, it will only start there.  Physically it will be much bigger and it has implications for the whole world.  Who will be involved?  Who might be the armies of the North, South, and West?  What will start this conflict?  When does it occur?  How does it end?

Brother Tommy expands on a subject he introduced last time, the Antichrist.  This is a much speculated and discussed subject even in the main stream media.  But what does the Bible actually say about this individual?  Both scary and fascinating, we should not ignore or obsess over him.  But rather we should give this subject just as much attention as the Bible does.  By the way if you haven’t noticed yet this series is not titled as a Revelations series, because Tommy pulls together prophecy from all over the Bible to give a clearer picture of what to expect from the End Times.  Did you know the Antichrist is mentioned all the way back in the Old Testament?  How will he come to power?  How will he rule?  How will he fall?

Last week Brother Tommy talked about the relationship between the Church and the Tribulation Period.  But what will happen with the Holy Spirit during this time?  What about Israel? What about the Gentiles (also known as the rest of the World)?  What does the Bible mean when it says the Restrainer will be removed?  Will the Holy Spirit be absent or different?  What will happen to Israel during the Tribulation?  Who are the 144,000?  What will happen to the rest of the World during this time?  Is there any hope for those present during the Tribulation?
How do the Jews and Gentiles relate to the Antichrist?  What is the Treaty mentioned and who breaks it?  Who might be the kings that align with the Antichrist?  Who are the Two Witnesses?  Who is the Woman and who is the Dragon?  What is the Beast with ten horns?  Northern Confederacy? Kings of the East?  Kingdom of the South?  What are the roles of the Beast and the False
prophet?

Today we go from the joyous topic of the Marriage of the Lamb to a discussion of a darker End Times topic.  Brother Tommy goes through the scriptural references to the Tribulation Period.  Will Believers be taken out of this world before during or after this terrible time?  Tommy believed and hoped it will be before the Tribulation.  But as he says here it does not matter what you believe about timing from your reading of the Bible as long as you have placed your Faith in Jesus Christ.  What is the purpose of the Tribulation?  Who are the 24 Elders and what do they do?

The happiest event of the end times will be the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.  Who is the Lamb?  Who is the Bride?  When does this occur?  How will the Bride be readied for the wedding?  Where will the Wedding be held?  How will the Wedding change the Bride?  There’s a reception?  Where?  What will the Bride receive in this Marriage?  Sorry about the choppy quality on this one, I tried to go back and cleanup some background noise from the old tapes and that was the result.

What is the Bema or Judgment Seat of Christ?  There’s more than one judgment?  Who is it for?  What is involved?  How does it differ from the other judgments?  How does this relate to Grace by Faith, not of Works?  What are the five possible crowns?

As Brother Tommy points out you will hear many people coming from different angles at these subjects about End Times among others.  You just have to look at the Scriptures from the Bible yourself and form your own opinion.  With that being said, here is Tommy’s opinion on when the Rapture will occur and what will happen afterwards.  What does Paul say about Believers, the Restrainer, and the Man of Sin?  What does Revelation say?  How does the wording change after chapter 3 and what about the Bride of Christ, the Church?  Tomorrow, we will hear about the Judgment Seat of Christ.

This is not a discussion of post millennial or a-millennial theories of end times but rather an explanation of the other times that have been theorized as to when the Lord will Rapture His saints out in regards to the Tribulation.  Brother Tommy presents these along with who believes them in order to contrast them with what he believed according to scripture.  I liked the analogy about the Bride of Christ versus the Partial Rapture idea.  Post Tribulation and Mid Tribulation Theory do not sound appealing to me because I do not want to be here to see it.  Fortunately, Brother Tommy has some compelling arguments based in Scripture as to why we as believers will be taken out of here before the Tribulation.  Tommy presents the Pre Tribulation Rapture message next time.
