What will the implications of the Rapture be for the Church?  Here Brother Tommy teaches us according to scripture who should expect the Rapture as well as how and when.  At the end of the message he gives examples from the Hal Lindsay book ‘Late Great Planet Earth’ as to what might happen to the people that are not included in the Rapture.  I had an opportunity to ask Brother Tommy a
number of questions about the book series called ‘Left Behind,’ which came out after he taught this series.  He said that even though it was fiction, it rang very true to his Pre-millenial beliefs about the End Times.

Now we start six messages on the Rapture.  This is a fascinating subject and one I personally look forward to.  What will occur next?  When will the Rapture take place?  Have you looked for the word ‘Rapture’ in your Bible?  What is the Rapture and where do we get this term?  Who will be included?  Brother Tommy makes no bones about being a Pre-millennialist but he also presents reasons why others believe differently while still being in the same theological family.  What is the difference between Resurrection and Rapture?  Who will be included in the Rapture?  What form will we take?  Listen for the eight challenges we have been given regarding the Rapture.

How can death be a state?  Isn’t that the end?  What is soul sleep?  What is purgatory?  What is the intermediate state?  What is Paradise?  Is it Heaven?  What is Sheol?  What is Hades?  What is the Abyss or Tarturus?  What is Abraham’s bosom?  What about Hell?  Brother Tommy had a Theological Seminary education and loved to research.  He backed up all his opinions with scripture. So at the very least he presents great food for thought.

Define the Church.  End Times prophecy talks about a great harlot, a false church.  The Bible also says that the Antichrist will use religion.  There are lots of religions growing today, what will happen to them?
