Today I have observed that most individuals think #commands are to be #ignored, #negotiated, or #changed according to their #desires! As I was growing up in Texas many years ago, parents, teachers, and police had #authority. Today I hear something like…”this is your honey do list” if you wish to do it! God does not change nor does His Word. “ALL GOD’S COMMANDMENTS ARE SURE AND TRUE STANDING FAST FOREVER AND EVER” Psalms 111:7-10 I see our nation listening to popular self centered idolatry while actively turning their backs on camera to GOD’S COMMANDS. What does Isaiah 48:17-22 say? “The LORD said, ‘O that you had hearkened to my commands THEN you would have peace and righteousness…but there is no peace unto the wicked” As I watch the news, I hear and see what is right being portrayed as wrong and wrong being made right. “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed…We have the spirit of faith believing and knowing Lord Jesus shall raise us up…for GOD COMMANDS HIS LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS INTO OUR HEARTS GIVING KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST..THAT THE EXCELLENCY OF THE POWER MAY BE OF GOD AND NOT OF US” 11Corinthians 4

I’ve been #young and now I’m #old and I’ve observed that no one likes to be told what to do or not do. Years ago “Father knows best” was heard repeatedly in families and even on TV; however, today who even knows their father? Where is authority? It seems to me the motto of the day is “Do whatever YOU want ” When we turn against GOD’S COMMANDS we hurt ourselves through arrogance by making #‘ME’ above GOD. “There are gods of this world that are blinding the eyes & minds of people who do not believe the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of GOD who will shine on them. GOD COMMANDS His light to shine out of darkness to shine in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of GOD in the face of JESUS CHRIST. We have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the POWER maybe of GOD and NOT of US. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed…..for all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many rebound to the glory of GOD.“..11Corinthians 4 Our Heavenly Father Knows Best today and forever!

The LIVING GOD #COMMANDS

#Time flies. I have friends who are now in their 90’s and I have seen their adult walk with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. What an example of faith, commitment, and loyalty they have been and still are during sickness, health, wealth, losses, heartaches, and happiness with Jesus as their COMMANDER. With the start of each new year, we make a list of resolutions that we think will improve our lives; however, how long has it been since we looked at GOD’S list of COMMANDMENTS? His Word is timeless! Ex. 20 “YOU shall have no other gods before me. YOU shall not make for yourself an idol or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on earth …YOU shall not worship them or serve them for I the LORD your GOD am a jealous God, visiting iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate ME, but showing lovingkindness to thousands who love ME and keep MY COMMANDMENTS. YOU shall not take the name of the LORD your GOD in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain. YOU remember the sabbath day to keep it holy…. You honor your father and mother that your days may be prolonged in the land the LORD your GOD gives you. YOU shall not murder. YOU shall not commit adultery. YOU shall not steal. YOU shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. YOU shall not covet …anything that belongs to your neighbor. JESUS GAVE US NEW COMMANDMENTS: Matt. 5 ” Love YOUR enemies and pray for those who persecute YOU….(When YOU pray in secret YOUR Father who sees in secret will repay YOU) John 14:15 “If YOU love Me, you will keep My COMMANDMENTS.” John 15:10 “If YOU keep My COMMANDMENTS, YOU WILL ABIDE IN MY LOVE, just as I have kept My Father’s COMMANDMENTS, and abide in His love. 12. This is My COMMANDMENT, that YOU love one another, just as I have loved YOU. 14. YOU are MY friends, if you do what I COMMAND YOU .” GIVE GOD YOUR TIME….
