THE LIVING GOD #REWARDS

Do you enter every #sweepstake hoping to win the #prize #rewards of #money/new#car/beautiful #house/#vacation in #paradise? I get mail promotions with a special key which could win the car of my dreams if it unlocks the car door, but I would have to go in person to the dealership to find out! We all make choices constantly; some profitably – some “forgetable” ! At my age, I realize more and more how our choices affect our rewards. We can sit an dream about our dream, but never take the first step to make it a reality. God gave us the key to the kingdom of God in His Son, Jesus Christ, but have you gone to Him in person? Peter answered Jesus in Matt.16 when Jesus asked him , “whom say you that I am?” –(Peter) Thou are the Christ, the Son of the living God..…(JESUS)I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven” Will you choose the only key that opens the heavenly gates of eternity with God? “Without FAITH it is impossible to please Him; for ‘the one’ that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a REWARDER of them that diligently seek Him.“Heb. 11:6 “the just shall live by his faith.” Hab.2:4 What choices are you making today? “What are you entering into and now (will) you turn to God from idols to serve the living and true God; and wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thess.1:10

THE LIVING GOD #PRAYED

Have you ever PRAYED to the only LIVING GOD? As a young child, I was taught in #Church, #Sunday #School, and #Vacation #Bible School by #teachers and #preachers from the Bible about God -the#Father, Jesus Christ -the #Son, and Holy Spirit -the #Comforter being separate, but one GOD. Now in my senior years of life, I am still amazed and in utter awe at GOD’s Omniscient Plan yet Compassionate Love to save us from eternal hell if we only PRAY to the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ asking forgiveness of our sins. Miracle of Miracles then God the Father will accept us through His Son’s sacrificial blood for our sin and then we are given the Holy Spirit to Comfort us into eternity with the LORD. I personally have prayed to God through Jesus Christ asking for forgiveness, redemption, and salvation. I have had the privilege of being with many loved ones as they prayed and asked Christ to take away their sin as they wanted to live life with the Lord as their guide through life. So why continue to pray if your saved? Did Jesus leave us an example of prayer? Did Jesus pray to God His Father? He told his disciples while at Gethsemane, “Sit you here, WHILE I SHALL PRAY” Mark 14:32,39 “again HE went away and PRAYED and spake the same words” (It’s ok to repeat) May all of us be like his disciple seeking the LORD. “…as He (JESUS) was PRAYING in a certain place, when He finished, one of disciples said unto Him, Lord, teach us to pray.…and He (JESUS) said unto them, When YOU PRAY, SAY, ‘OUR FATHER’ WHICH ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME. THY KINGDOM COME. THY WILL BE DONE, AS IN HEAVEN, SO IN EARTH. GIVE US DAY BY DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. FORGIVE US OUR SINS; FOR WE ALSO FORGIVE EVERY ONE THAT IS INDEBTED TO US. LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION; BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL.” Luke 11:1-4

The LIVING GOD #REST

Did God #Work? Did God Rest? “We’ll work ’til #Jesus #Comes” is an old song that we sang joyfully many years ago. Today I see people avoiding work while they constantly complain. What does Hebrews 3:12 say about our LIVING GOD’S WORK AND REST? Today; urge one another to be partners with Christ, hear His voice, harden not your heart in unbelief by forsaking the LIVING GOD. 3:19 “So we see that they could not enter into His REST because of unbelief.” 4:3″For we which have BELIEVED do enter into REST,….. the works were finished from the foundation of the world…as God did REST the seventh day from all HIS WORKS. 10 For he that is entered into his REST, he also has to cease from his own works, as God did from His. Let us labor to enter into that REST lest any man fall into unbelief. 6.See it remains that some still must enter (His rest) 7.harden not your hearts. 8,9 “For if Jesus had given them REST, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. THERE REMAINS A REST TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD.”
