WORK OF THE LIVING GOD

#WORK seems to be #destained today. I am observing many who seemly want somebody else to take care of them while they accomplish their self indulgence, because WORK is beneath them. “Exertion & toil of strength or facilities to accomplish something with labor” is Websters’ definition of work. Obviously, many do not know the most High Majestic LORD’S WORK. “CONSIDER THE WORK OF GOD” Ecclesiastes 7:13 “In the beginning GOD CREATED heaven and earth….GOD FORMED MAN in His own image Male and Female created He them” Genesis 1:27 “WORKS OF LORD are Great, Honorable, Glorious, Pleasurable, & to be Remembered” Ps.111:2 “How Great are WORKS of GOD’S HANDS which have made me GLAD” Ps.92:4 Does your work bring joy to others? “Mighty in Work and Counsel, GOD’S eyes are open to all the ways of men giving them each according to the fruit of their doings” Jeremiah 32:18,19 [pay to play] “It is God who WORKS IN YOU both to will and do of His good pleasure“ Philippians 2:13 Trust, follow, listen to the Master ! “BE CONFIDENT OF THIS VERY THING THAT GOD WHO BEGAN A GOOD WORK IN YOU WILL PERFORM IT UNTIL THE DAY OF JESUS CHRIST” Phil.1:6

What kind of #labor or travail does a #winning #witness have to go through even though they have the truth of God’s Word and the strength of the Holy Spirit? From where should our burden for the lost come? What makes this burden grow? How much was Paul concerned for the lost? How about Jesus? Is this travail meant to bring us down? How strongly did Paul wish that he could save everyone? When you listen to Paul’s description of his fellow Israelites in their lost state, do you see any parallels to our current society?

The LIVING GOD #REST

Did God #Work? Did God Rest? “We’ll work ’til #Jesus #Comes” is an old song that we sang joyfully many years ago. Today I see people avoiding work while they constantly complain. What does Hebrews 3:12 say about our LIVING GOD’S WORK AND REST? Today; urge one another to be partners with Christ, hear His voice, harden not your heart in unbelief by forsaking the LIVING GOD. 3:19 “So we see that they could not enter into His REST because of unbelief.” 4:3″For we which have BELIEVED do enter into REST,….. the works were finished from the foundation of the world…as God did REST the seventh day from all HIS WORKS. 10 For he that is entered into his REST, he also has to cease from his own works, as God did from His. Let us labor to enter into that REST lest any man fall into unbelief. 6.See it remains that some still must enter (His rest) 7.harden not your hearts. 8,9 “For if Jesus had given them REST, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. THERE REMAINS A REST TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD.”
