What can we learn from looking at our #fam ? They are #God given and yet not #perfect. We can say that about our own family but we don’t want anybody else to criticize them. How does that picture of devotion relate to the way we are to treat our family of God? The Bible calls fellow believers in Christ, ‘brothers’ 230 times. Can Christians become even closer than blood relatives? Is this devoted behavior automatic and immediate? What are some excuses we give for not being devoted to one another enough? What can we do to improve?

On #socialmedia and sometimes #irl (in real life) we treat anyone with a different opinion as an opponent. How do you treat other people? Is it important to you, is it important to #God? When #Jesus was asked what is the most important commandment, He summarized the whole Bible in two actions: love the Lord, your God with all your heart, mind, and soul and love your neighbor as yourself. For the next several weeks, we are going to hear Brother Tommy tell us what the Bible says about the proper way to love others as ourselves. How do we give honor to other people? Is it possible to give what we don’t have? Where do we seek our honor? What does the Bible mean when it says, ‘in honor prefer one another’? This advice goes against our nature and everything the World says we need to do. It only makes sense when you take care of the first important commandment Jesus mentioned.

Was it a last minute attempt to save mankind? Is the prophecy about Jesus complete? Why was Jesus not born into a palace? What was the practice of kinsman redeemer? Did we exist before birth, will we exist after death? How is this different from / similar to Jesus Christ? Why did Jesus need to come down at all?
