At the moment you become a #Christian, the #HolySpirit comes to live inside you. Now what? Are we just meant to be saved and then put on a shelf for safekeeping? No, we are to go out and be witnesses but we cannot do so under our own power. How does the Holy Spirit qualify believers to do the work of God? From where does the motivation to serve come? On whose power does our service depend? Who builds and upholds the church? Why do Believers get different gift(s)? How can we be filled with the Holy Spirit and how will that impact our worship?

A good #investment is one that lasts a long time, so a great investment must be one that lasts #forever. We are talking today about the #love of #God. He loves us so much He sent His only Son to be a sacrifice to allow us eternal life if we repent of our sins and give Him control of our life. If love is a gift that is eternal, does that mean that some gifts are not? What are some of the childish things we should put away? What does Paul mean when he says that now we see through a glass dimly? Do any graces besides love last forever? Is any of these graces greater than love? How do we achieve this kind of love for God and others?

After celebrating the ultimate example of God’s #love last week, let’s get back to our series , Christ is the answer. Can #faith and #hope be ours without love? How does love relate to the other gifts of the Holy Spirit? The greek language had several words for love. In this passage from First Corinthians, what does the use of agape tell us? To show the superiority of love, Paul lists where we would be in multiple facets of life without love. I don’t know about you but if I am suspicious of the motive of a speaker or authority figure, i will not be persuaded to follow or act. Is love a gift or a grace? Without love what do we have?

Does #Christmas sneak up on you, or does it take forever to come around? It probably depends on your age. But whatever age you are, it can be a wonderful time. Why do you think God sent His son when He did, not sooner or later? Any birth is a cause for celebration, but how much more exciting is the birth that split time into before and after? The birth of Jesus Christ also fulfilled 333 prophecies in the Old Testament. How did the birth of Jesus bring joy and peace to this world? How about hope and love? God came down to Earth to restore a personal relationship with us, will you accept His gift?

Have you ever known somebody who was all #feet, or more #brawn than #brains? We value #balance in individuals and the same goes for #Christ and His church. Can you be a member of THE church without a personal relationship with Jesus? When does the baptism of the Spirit occur? Have you ever gotten a small cut or scrape on an out of the way body part and been shocked by how many times you feel it throughout the day? There are no unimportant parts of the body and there are no unimportant roles in the church. Is it easier to comfort or congratulate? Paul gives a list of spiritual gifts to the Corinthians and rebalanced the weight and frequency of each one.

#Multitasking, are Christians told to be #spiritual or #practical? Actually, it is both. Does God use temporary things to accomplish eternal things? Is it only money that Christians are asked to give? Are only the poor truly spiritual? What made the church at Philippi such a joyous one? If Paul was joyful in poverty or abundance, why was he grateful for the Philippians’ gift and what it meant for them? Does the amount of or the motives behind the gift matter more to God?
