Is reading the Lord’s Word the most frequent thing we should be doing? What about praying? What are the keys to successful prayers? What is our Christian responsibility to present Jesus Christ to others? Can a Christian go it alone? From where should a Christian’s direction or control come?

Have you ever gotten in a #badmood because you were having a #badday? Who hasn’t? Today, I had to apologize to my grown children for my #attitude about the way things turned out. I had planned a reunion to celebrate birthdays and I was being plagued with what appeared to be inconveniences. In my lack of Faith, I forgot that God has it under control. How much better would my witness have been if I had praised each setback as it occurred? If only I had posted this blog about 24 hours earlier. By Grace through Faith, we are saved. But is that all that Grace does? How is Grace given out? How can it help us to avoid sin? What about trouble? Can Christians avoid trials and tribulations? Is there a purpose for this?

Once you have accepted the free gift of #Salvation, what else is there to look forward to? What are some other motivations to finish the #race well? Works or being good has no bearing on our being saved from an eternity without God, but works with the right motive definitely determine rewards in the afterlife. How will the Lord separate good deeds from deeds done for the wrong reason? How many crowns are available to a Christian? Will everyone get all of them or even one? Who will win the incorruptible crown? How about the crown of glory, righteousness, life, and/or the crown of rejoicing?

Knowing God

If the Bible says that knowing God is the greatest height a man can attain, where does that leave the #atheist, or the #agnostic? Is the Bible the only place where we can find out more about God? Does science exclude or disprove God? Are those that deny the law of gravity, immune to it? What is the Word of God? How can it be described as both simple and profound? What else draws us to our need for God? If there were just a created World for us to live in and the Word of God for us to read it might be enough, but God did not stop there in His gifts to reveal Himself to us. Who is the helper God sent to help us know Him?
